Tamarack Collaboration
Last November we met Nancy and Richard Self from Tamarack Farm in Canada and they offered us the possibility of working with offcuts of fleece from their sheep farm. Yesterday, brought by hand all the way from Canada (thank you Tricia), these fleeces were delivered.
Tamarack is an incredible 390 acre working farm in Northumberland County where they are rehabilitating the land using regenerative, ecological farming practices. Essential to the farm philosophy is a deep and uncompromising commitment to the principles of animal welfare and the stewardship of the land.
It’s an honour to be able to work with these offcuts, thank you so much Nancy and Tricia for making it possible. We very much look forward to sharing the end result .. shearling bags!
